from brunette to blonde

Hasw anyone else noticed that recently more and more brunette celebrities are going blonde? Once I read that no hair color will ever look as good on you as your natural one. It makes sense.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for change! In fact, I've been through a couple of hair makeovers myself.

However some of these ladies made, in my humble opinion, a very poor choice.

I'd love to know what you think.

Kim Kardashian:

Kim is known for being a brunette bombshell. Her hair is absolutely gorgeous. Always. She is also of Armenian descent, so to picture a blonde Kim K used to be pretty ridiculous because of her dark features. I have to say I don't loathe her blonde hair, but she looks a trillion times better as a brunette. Why? Because the dark hair is her edge. She stands out for not being the common all-America girl. As a blonde, she looks to ordinary.

Lindsay Lohan:

My oh my. I love love love this girl. She's so beautiful and I've always envied her red locks. That shade of red- her natural color- is truly rare. I've seen plenty of redhaired people before and the usual color is the more orangy one, so the fire red is stunning.

Linds, why insist on going blonde? It does NOT suit you and does not do your beauty any justice.

Jessica Alba:

As I said in Kim K's case, I do not hate Jessica Alba as a blonde, but still prefer her as a brunette. She looks way more exotic that way.

Katherine McPhee:

I haven't made up my mind about this one. Katherine has beautiful, shiny, long brown hair, but recently went blonde as a marketing strategy to promote her new album. She's not only pulling of the blonde, but she's also rocking the short hair. I think she looks beautiful either way.
